MP 40 is an alloy melting pot capable of handling the needs of modern hospitals for both electron and photon fi lters. The temperature controller is based on a self-optimised PID regulation keeping the
temperature accurate on the desired setpoint. The protected, heated valve has its own regulation loop keeping it ready at all times.
Built fully in stainless steel the surface treatment gives it a rugged design. The top lid opens easy off ering access to the tank for refilling.
The heating time for a pot is less than ½ hour for a full tank allowing it to be turned off when not in use.
The unit is insulated with high-efficiency insulation material maintaining a cool exterior.
The heated valve is as well as the main heater regulated maintaining an accurate temperature. This protects the valve seals, though the valve is rated to higher temperatures.
Due to the heated valve a hose can be applied with the risk of cluttering the valve and thereby allowing easier pour of the alloy.
The regulation circuitry has built in security which checks for faults and shuts down in case of any error occurring.
